Arrow My Decent into Spoiler Addiction

At the beginning of the season I was pretty much spoiler-free. I knew that willow would have something to do with Buffy's return, but that's pretty much a given. And now it's full blown spoiler addiction.

Phase One: Skim spoilers. Just want a taste of upcoming eps. Don't know much more than wants in the previews.

Phase Two: Start to actually read some of the spoilers, but not all.

Phase Three: Read all spoilers and skim early feeds sometimes, mostly if there will be a delay in episode viewing.

Phase Four: Read all spoilers, wild feed asap, check boards and other spoiler sites daily (if not more) for any new shread of detail on the coming episodes.

I'm definately in stage four and if there was a Stage Five, I'd be well on my way. How about everyone else?

Well after the horrors of being spoiled for the BtVS Season 5 finale by my local station (as an advertising campaign they showed us a shot of Buffy's grave and images of the rest of the cast crying!!!) I have decided to go utterly spoiler free....

And when I say that I mean - I do not go looking for them.... the end of Heartthrob was spoiled for me by some lazy person on another board for example...

So, I don't watch previews, I don't read TV guide material, I don't have any BtVS websites in my favourites directory... and as I'm in the UK I stay away from review threads and SF TV review sites......

The only thing I look for is the writer/director listings for the episodes... nothing more... unless of course some kind soul spoils me by accident

Really I shouldn't even be in this forum..........errrrr.....

Bye

I've been a complete spoiler whore for years, so no news there. Unfortunately I don't have time to search all the sites, so I kinda depend on people on the boards feeding my addiction.

Hugo: I totally agree, that was the filthiest spoiler ad I've ever seen - we did post warnings on the board as soon as it aired the first time, but it was probably too late for many people to avoid it, and they must have shown it 50 times before the ep. Typical bloody Sky.

Woohoo, welcome to the cool gang of us spoiler whores, Christy!

I'm really interested in what you guys think are good spoiler sites. I found that this year I can get by easily by visiting a limited number sites only. Basically each and every spoiler gets posted on either of these. My favourites are:
- The Spoiler Slayer (overview)
- BAPS Spoiler Zone (general & Spike)
- Kitten Board (Willow/Tara)
- Fan Forum Spoiler Board (general)
- TBCS Spoiler Board (general)

Reggie (definitely beyond Phase Four)

Great!! I know every of the above spoiler suppliers. I check each and every one of those as often as humanly posible. Sometimes even more.

Oh... god.... I'm a spoiler whore too!!!
Yeahh, great surprise!

There's nothing I can do, I'm completely hoocked. Does anybody know of a good support group?
Who am I kidding... I'm beyond rehabilitation, and that's ok. I have lots of fun trying to find the latest spoilers on the net, althoug in my house they are not so happy about the increasing number of hours I spent searching throug the web.

Hi! Me again... just wanna add that BAPS is a great place for spoilers. The spoilers are updated weekly, and she posts lots of diffrents sources. It's really good to keep track of what are the spoilers on the web.

And the other message boards are a lot of fun to hang on. You can read spoilers, comments, etc. At kitten boards often you can find location reports.
I love those sites...

Can you see how obsessed I am with this show?

Hi my name is Clockverk and........I'm a spoiler-a-holic.

I've been on and off the wagon since season 3. I strolled past my first spoiler site with nary a second glance.....but soon the urge came....that urge "to know". I tried to stop it, but it was like a drug.....well actually like several drugs mixed together to make an ambrosia fit for the gods.

after the death I was living spoiler free for the span of about 4 episodes before i was drawn back into the fold. I now check spoilers and wildfeeds frequently. My wife doesnt know...i act surprised when we watch it together.

Thank you

/me goes to grab some of the free coffee and hangs his head in shame.

Bah! I've been coming to these meetings since... Hey! Who ate all the doughnuts?

/me grabs a muffin and wanders off to the back muttering about the many advantages doughnuts have over muffins.

I hate liking spoilers.

I have a pattern - I read the spoilers for the first half of the eyar, then I go cold turkey the second half. But this is the first year I ever read the Wildfeeds. every week I say - NO! I will not read them, and everyMonday eve or Tuesday afternoon - there they are - the link is staring me in the face. And I read. I feel so dirty afterwards...

Ooops! My mistake Clockverk. I thought they had doughnuts at these meetings.

By the way theres a bit of glazed sugar residue on the edges of your pocket. Possibly from an illicit affair with a bear claw?

Cool

Muffins are more stable in a relationship. But can you really give up the thrill of getting involved with a new doughnut? The excitment as the cream filling spurts int.... Hmm. I think I'll stop there.

/me really enjoys a good doughnut.

Cool

Not that anyone would really care but the Bon Marche used to have the BEST blueberry muffins. Way better than the best doughnut I've ever had so you've got me there Christy.

They had "sprinkles" of sugar on top that were closer to being sugar cubes. Literally a couple millimeters wide. And fresh Blueberries. In Seattle they made them right next to the glass bridge from the parking lot so you had to walk past them.

One of those things that when I think about them I can immediately remember the smell. Takes me back to age 6 or so. Little tiny hand in my mother's as she warns me not too run off or I won't get one.

Ah muffins. But they don't sell them anymore so life sucks and I want a doughnut!

I've actually decended into Spoiler addiction. I can't stay away from this board. I read any and all spoilers I find. I read the wildfeed summaries no matter how hard I try not to.

This no wildfeed thing has really tested the bounds of my withdrawl. I think I need to get out of the house or something. Because every five minutes i'm checking every board i know of, looking for just a little hit.

Work was damn hard knowing i had no idea what was going to happen at 8.
